This is a house designed with a vision to encompass an entire lifestyle experience. This beautiful unit in Sixth Avenue was redesigned to truly reflect luxury and class – In the modern contemporary theme, we transformed this living space into a reflection of our client’s personal style and the rich heritage from travels. Showcasing our client’s prized possessions, we imbued their very essence into this home with touches of modernness and even an art museum-like walkway.
Design Highlights
Upon entering, you’re greeted by a breathtaking view that immediately captures your attention. The living room exudes grandeur, featuring LED light accents and full-height feature walls. Warm lighting enhances the overall aesthetics and balance of the space, and the design emphasizes natural materials such as granite and marble, giving the home a distinct elegance. The choice of incorporating black beauty by Cosentino and their personal collectibles provides a balanced and unique touch to the overall concept not to mention, textured wallpaper clad all walls, adding that subtle yet holistic feel to the home.
In the dining area, we opted for an open-concept layout, fostering a sense of connectivity and conviviality. A custom-made island anchors the space, providing a focal point for gatherings and hosting adventures. Made from the same Black Beauty that resonates with the TV console, it offers ample hidden storage for our clients. Moving onto our personal favorite area, the museum-like walkway. Strategically designed and positioned spaces offer a sense of connectivity and shared experiences within the house, this being the standout zone. Framed, exceptional art pieces our client has collected from different countries over the years adorn the walls flowing towards the bedrooms, with one telling the unique tale of their children’s births.
Speaking of their children, their rooms are practically yin and yang, with opposing themes and directions. The son’s room is his personal man cave, perfect for gaming sessions and completed with dark glass-enclosed displays. Dark and sleek, it perfectly contrasts his sister’s light and airy, ‘Bali” “-like room. With her own custom bedhead and a soothing environment, it’s zen-worthy. Across that would be their sole bathroom, specific to the family’s lifestyle, since they’ve rarely used the master bathroom. It extends useable space in the master bedroom, made with a textured niche, and has both tinted glass and the same granite used throughout the home.
The master bedroom stands out with its exquisite walk-in closet, converted from the previous bathroom. The home’s layout provides a beautiful view from the window, which is unblocked and a perfect place for relaxation. It’s leveled up with 3D foam carved to resemble a rock, adding dimension to the space while alleviating the whole look. This home truly represents a lifestyle for the owners, offering a luxurious and comfortable living experience that will be enjoyed for years to come. The emphasis on high-quality materials and thoughtful design make it a true gem.
